I think Jesus is saying that He has come to give us real life. The life he offers is full of love, grace, forgiveness and joy. It makes me grateful when I think what Jesus has done and what this world would have been without Him. I think we can have life more abundantly by truly accepting Jesus and by realizing that the life He has given is so much greater than the life that we can have in the world.

i think jesus is saying he came for the forgivness of our sins so in that way, we may live on. He came so he could actually show us the word of god and what it meant to be like god so that we may learn and be able to live a life in christ… which would be a more abundant life, because with god you can put all your trust in him and know that life will be great… he’ll bring your success and be there with you through anything… Without god life is just so empty..
